One of Springfield’s most famous Holiday Traditions is back – SantaCon! Help kick-off the annual event by registering to sponsor a tree in this year’s Tree Village. Bring coworkers, friends and family to decorate a tree and compete for bragging rights when the trees are voted on during SantaCon! All trees will then be given to The Salvation Army of Clark County to be distributed to families in need of trees.
The details:
Cost to sponsor a tree: $100
Date: Friday, Dec. 12 from 5 to 8 pm at Mother Stewart’s
Includes: A set up, pre-lit with white-lights, 6-foot tree. Also included are 5 drink tickets and 3 boxed, handmade turtles.
You bring: Any decorations and lights you’d like to add! Be creative – bring unique ornaments or colorful lights or decorate in a theme! (Please be mindful this will all be given to a family as their decorations for the holidays.) *No Glass Ornaments/Decorations*
Finished trees will be on display at Mother Stewart’s throughout SantaCon, which starts at 4 pm on Saturday, Dec. 13. A QR code will be available for attendee to vote for their favorite tree.
