Quitting tobacco—or reducing use—can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. A free Tobacco Support Group is available right here in downtown Springfield, offering encouragement, education, and connection in a welcoming environment.
The group meets every third Wednesday of the month from 5:00–6:00 PM at Metropolis Downtown (3rd Floor), located at 102 W. High Street, Springfield, Ohio. There is no registration required, and light refreshments are provided, making it easy to stop in and participate.
This support group is designed for anyone who wants to:
-
Quit using tobacco
-
Cut back or explore healthier habits
-
Learn more about cessation tools and resources
-
Connect with others on a similar journey
The sessions are facilitated with care and understanding, recognizing that everyone’s path looks different. Whether you’re just beginning to think about change or are already taking steps forward, you’ll find a judgment-free space focused on progress—not perfection.
The Tobacco Support Group is supported by Awakenings of Clark County in partnership with the Clark County Combined Health District, organizations committed to improving health and well-being across our community.
If you have questions or would like more information, you can contact Leah Behler at (937) 390-5600 ext. 220.
Small steps can lead to meaningful change. If you or someone you love could benefit from support, consider joining the next session and taking that step together.
